Silk Range 2006

The 2006 granát range was inspired by vibrantly coloured silks — a choice that is almost irresistible, given the quality of silk. The lustre, drape, touch and comfort of silk is unsurpassed by any other fabric, and these qualities are further enhanced by the colourful tones used in this range. The focus here is on comfortable, ready-to-wear dresses that show off the soft, “floaty” qualities of silk satins and chiffons, and the granát designer, Adriana van Rooyen, used a wide variety of bright, fruity, colours to create a very vivacious look. Adriana believes that, when a woman puts on a dress, it must evoke three of her most beautiful qualities: her happiness, her elegance and her femininity. This range strives to do exactly that.
