About the Designer

Adriana van Rooyen studied Fashion Design at the Elizabeth Galloway Academy of Fashion Design located in Stellenbosch, South Africa, where she currently also lectures Pattern Making. Adriana specialises in the Italian method of pattern making. Adriana received a Creative Skills Certificate in Fashion Wear from City & Guilds in 2003 and a diploma from the Italian Dressmaking School in Fashion Illustration & Design and Designing and Dressmaking in 2001. Adriana believes in combining classic designs with a simple cut. She strives to accomplish the following in her end product: innovative design, a perfect fit, use of only the highest quality textiles and impeccable construction. Her motto: every woman has the right to look beautiful.
